Sport Talks

Our 'Sport Talks' classes are aimed at providing groups with a fun and safe space to exercise, communicate about everyday experiences and understand the benefits of exercise towards both our physical & mental wellbeing.

Studies have shown that exercise can release endorphins to energise your spirits and lift your mood. Talking isn't a sign of weakness, it's a way to take care of your wellbeing and help cope with problems and our classes will cover all of this.

Classes are run in 2 parts - Sport & Talk

SPORT - groups will take part in some form of physical activity such as a fitness class or team games to help raise endorphin levels and get them moving, communicating and having fun!

 

TALK - each session will end with a talk section where the group will discuss how the exercise has altered their mood and also provide an opportunity to discuss any other feelings they may wish to disclose or get another perspective on.

- These sessions can be booked as one off classes or as a 6 week workshop

- Classes are run by 2 fully trained and qualified Physical and Mental Health Coaches

- Classes start from year 5 all the way up to year 12

- Classes can be for a full class, girls only, boys only or a targeted group

- Classroom worksheets / activities provided for additional learning

- For each 6 week course booked you will receive 1 FREE teacher focused class
